PROJECTS AND THEMES
During the realization of the stick I keep in mind three important factors that affect the final satisfactory outcome:

1. depth study of the conformity of the wood: distortion of the neck or trunk, particular knots etc that determines in part the subject to sculpt and the quality of his fiber – a project that implies a complex and refined carving like a miniature, that has need a compact fiber, seasoned in a perfect way and devoid of cracks and surprises like woodworms or internal natural voids .

2. The themes take into account the culture and the history of the truck that running from the beginning of time to today like neared (and fascinated) by the literature of the texts written by leading experts in the bibliography in my possession.

Conversely of my work realized in clay , glass windows, graphic design where are recognizable style and recurring themes of a single artist, in the realization of my trucks , that fall within the genre ‘’sticks of folk art’’ I force myself whit competitive spirit and safe fun to immerse myself from time to time in a farmer in the farmyard after a day's work – a shepherd while cures the sheeps – a sailor embarked for six months – a coal maker of Mazzini – a fisherman on the on the banks of Trasimeno – a regular visitor to brothels - a blowhard who does not care of the world - a great-grandson of the Templars – a lover of heraldry and … a graphic who after finishing the work returns home and finally can carves a stick, and after passing in front of the Duomo in Milan, and asks himself for the umpteenth time why not arrived 500 years ago in this city ... to carve gargoyles.

3. From here subjects take different forms and styles - very realistic in the female anatomy- naif in giuliars and satyrs - grotesque in the gargoyle and dragons - very scientific in animals and the other wood , in the future , the nature wants me to find and the subjects that the unconscious want to create.

WHO CALLED THIS ANCIENT ART CERTAINLY ‘’ FEEL’’ HOW MUCH , ONLY SEE IT , ARE OUT OF PLACE AND PATHNETIC THE STICKS MADE IN SERIES OR, STILL WORSE , IN NUMBERED COPIES OF AUTHOR EVEN IF FAMOUS AND LISTED.
